International R&D Project Specialist

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a team member in the role of "R&D Specialist" under the Research and Digital Process Management Directorate within the Technology, R&D, and Business Development Directorate.

General Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering departments such as Industrial, Computer, Software, Materials, Telecommunications, or Mechatronics,
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management,
• Preferably holds PMI, PMP certification, knowledgeable about project management process and knowledge areas,
• Preferably experienced in international project management,
• Proficient in MS Office applications, knowledgeable about project management software,
• Holds a Class B Driver's License and can actively drive vehicles,
• Open to continuous change and development in a dynamic environment,
• Strong communication skills, advanced negotiation skills,
• Problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, and quick decision-making skills,
• Enhanced cultural awareness,
• Committed to business ethics and collaboration principles,
• No international travel restrictions when necessary,
• Capable of adapting to flexible working hours and inclined towards teamwork,
• Able to lead and motivate project teams,
• Proficient in risk management, budget management, planning, and monitoring skills,
• Capable of high-level organization and time management,
• Advanced level of English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking),
• Residing in Istanbul/Diyarbakır,

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assuming the role of project management for international projects,
• Monitoring international sector calls and TÜBİTAK Implementation Principles,
• Defining project objectives and scope, creating and monitoring project plans,
• Forming, managing, and fostering collaboration within project teams,
• Effectively allocating project resources and managing the budget,
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and assessing their impact on the project,
• Establishing effective communication with stakeholders and providing regular updates,
• Evaluating project results and measuring project success,
• Improving project management processes and ensuring compliance with best practices,
• Ensuring compliance with international standards in projects requiring working with different cultures and international experience,
• Conducting technological literature and patent research for new projects,
• Participating in technical activities when necessary,
• Preparing project presentations,
• Regular reporting on project progress,
• Preparing project specifications and administrative contract monitoring,
• Monitoring project quality criteria and conducting risk assessment,
• Managing technical and academic stakeholders,
• Conducting research, analysis, and feasibility studies in domestic and international project development activities,
• Monitoring innovation activities related to our company's business areas in Turkey and worldwide,
• Conducting special topic research (Electric Distribution Sector Components, Effects of Electric Vehicles on the Grid, Smart Grids, Storage Technologies, Renewable Energy (RES, GES, Hydrogen, etc.), Image Processing, etc.).
